QUESTION #3

Do photographs tell the truth? Do they ever lie?
I believe that all photos have bias woven deep between each pixel; angles, exposure, and editing skills can alter the image or event to the photographers liking making it personal. However, there are instances where photographs do tell the truth to the extent of expression.

QUESTION #2

Which is more descriptive, a text that describes an event, or a photograph? Why?
When I want to know about an event, I do not search for the text to get a sense of what happened, I want to get a feel of the environmental/ emotional ecstasy that can give me the opportunity to relate to it. Although words are good at describing events, it cannot connect with the consumer's emotion and opinion without a picture. Photography has given us the opportunity to relive events and spread news widely to people outside of the event area.

Question #1

Define are and/or photography based on your personal life experience:
I believe photography, based on the viewer, has the potential to grasp hidden beauty and exclaim meaning that goes deeper into though than pixels. Each photo has a thought and idea to it that can have sentimental meaning on emotion, depth of perception, and understanding that sometimes reveals itself to certain people. It allows people to express themselves beyond text and words and voice that the human body limits.   Photography lets humans experience places outside of their cultural, in that it is the essence of individual culture; it can unite and alleviate the physical barriers of the world.

           "To make the ordinary extraordinary."
